7 Current and Upcoming Construction Projects LAC Building O Complex – Measure E 2008 7 Property acquired December 2008 Two structures totaling 87,000 square feet Occupants shall be: IITS, BMT, Warehouse Facility (operational), ERD, and Foundation Office (Relocating July 6 th ) Tenant improvements underway on: ERD offices, elevator installation for bldg. 1 Potential rental spaces being assessed

14 Current and Upcoming Construction Projects 14 Phase 1 – Construction of Central Plants The chillers at the Central Plants were selected to achieve maximum efficiencies both at part load and full load conditions. The plant not only reduces the peak electrical demand at the campus but also offers lower emissions thus reducing the impact on the environment. Received rebates from Southern California Edison LAC Central Plant  Designed to have (2) 600 ton centrifugal chillers and (1) 300 ton chiller with space for a future 600 ton chiller. The Central Plant is designed to serve most of the existing buildings and all the new buildings at the campus. PCC Central Plant  Designed to have (2) 300 ton centrifugal chillers and (1) 300 ton multi-stack chiller. The Central Plant is designed to serve most of the existing buildings and approximately three new buildings at the campus. District Wide Energy Retrofits - Measure E 2008
