Patient Privacy Patients give up quite a bit of control over their lives Patients’ lives and well-being are put into the hands of their caregivers Patients’ expectation is that their rights will be ensured – This includes the right to privacy

Spiritual Needs Spiritual needs are often greater when patients are fearful and ill Patients have the right to believe or not believe in any faith system Listen to the patients Your role is to reflect patients’ ideas –Not convince them of your own
