If a customer chooses to transfer their number, the phone will not ship activated. To complete the activation process, customers will need to contact the ACN TELUS order inquiry line at Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm (EST). Once the customer has decided whether they will be transferring a number, they can then click “checkout” to review their order. For renewing clients, they are instructed to call the ACN TELUS activation line at to complete their renewal.

Transferring Phone Numbers
You will be asked to provide your current carrier’s Wireless Number & Account Number After you receive your device, to complete activation process, you must: Contact ACN TELUS Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm (EST) Please note, if this information is incorrect the order will be delayed. If a customer chooses to transfer their number, the phone will not ship activated. To complete the activation process, customers will need to contact the ACN TELUS order inquiries line at Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Weekends from 9 am to 8 pm. Renewing clients are instructed to call the ACN Telus activation line at to complete their renewal.

Checkout Only Canadian credit cards with associated billing address
Only one order per credit card for a 24 hr period Account name must match the name on the credit card used for payment Print confirmation page Once the customer has decided whether they will be transferring a number, they can then click "checkout" to review their order. Customers will then be asked to enter specific information to complete their order, including billing and shipping information address, Business ID and a promo code (if applicable). The billing information on the order should match the billing information on file with the credit card company. Next, customers will need to confirm their information and order for accuracy. Once this is done, they will be asked to enter their credit card information. Only Canadian credit cards with associated billing addresses will be accepted. Also, only one order per credit card for a 24 hour period is accepted. Also, the account name must match the name on the credit card used for payment. After completing payment information, customers should click on "complete payment" to finalize the order. The order is now complete! Customers should print the confirmation page for their records. NOTE: clients will also get an Order Confirmation by . If they did not receive the , it is possible the order did not go through.

ID Verification Process
If TELUS Mobility cannot verify the identity of the customer placing the order, you will receive notice your customer's identity hasn't been verified You then will need to retrieve the IBO Verification Form from your IBO Back Office for your customer to fill out The form will then need to be returned to ACN Telus Customer Service by you, as the ACN IBO If TELUS Mobility cannot verify the identity of the customer placing the order, you, as the ACN IBO, will receive notice that your customer's identity hasn't been verified. You then will need to retrieve the IBO Verification Form from your IBO Back Office for your customer to fill out The form will then need to be returned to ACN Telus Customer Service by you, as the ACN IBO. NOTE: the order will remain incomplete until returned

Upgrades Customers can replace or upgrade their TELUS mobile device at a discounted price, plus upgrade fee, at any time during their contract Now let’s switch and talk about the new TELUS Upgrades available through ACN IBOs. With ACN TELUS Clear and Simple Device Upgrades, you can replace your damaged device or upgrade to the next latest and greatest model by paying an upgrade fee based on the discount you originally received when your contract began, and the number of months remaining in your contract.

So if you wish to upgrade your mobile device part way through your contract, simply pay the Device Balance fee and get a new device at full discount. This fee is calculated based on the discount you originally received when your contract began, and the number of months remaining in your contract. The longer you wait, the lower your fee. To determine your current Device Balance, refer to your latest TELUS Wireless invoice. Number of months remaining on your current contract. The discount you original received on your current device. TELUS discounts the cost of your device when you sign a contract. The discount amount becomes your device balance. Over the length of your contract, TELUS automatically reduces your device balance each month by a set amount. This “monthly credit” is equal to your original device discount divided by the number of months in your contract. Upgrade Check Point An will be sent to the customer with the device upgrade fee and they are asked to respond if they agree. If there is no response after 7 days… A call will be placed to the customer from TELUS Activation team letting them know the Early Device Upgrade fee Customer will not be charged the “upgrade” fee until they speak with Customer Service and give their approval to proceed * Order will not proceed until upgrade fee is approved by the customer and order is voided if no response is received 7 days after initial call. After order, device is shipped within 3-5 days Customer must call into Customer Service to activate the device - they will not lose service Upgrade Check Point An will be sent to the customer with the device upgrade fee and they are asked to respond if they agree. Ordering – Renewals/Upgrades
Let’s first talk about Renewal Orders – all orders will be done online. The Renewal Orders will be made online just as any other ACN TELUS Wireless order would be. Second, let me tell you how the Upgrade Orders will be handled. Your customer will order online. But the next steps are a little different… when ordering online it can’t be determined if the customer is doing an “upgrade” or “renewal”, so that Early Device Upgrade fee will not be shown there at the order portal .. A live manual review by ACN TELUS Customer Service will determine if the order is an Upgrade Order and then will contact the customer about the Early Device Fee. The order will not be completed/processed until the customer gives their approval of the EDF to the Customer Service rep. So the customer will go into the ACN TELUS Webstore – they will start with the Renewals Tab. They can review the information found here and then the ordering process is just the same – they choose a device and a plan. Remember: When customers place their order, if they place an order for new service and it is an existing customer, then it may delay the processing time of the order or the order may be cancelled.

Key Reminders You cannot add a device upgrade to a cart that already contains a new activation When ordering a new device or renewing/upgrading you must pick a device plan that is compatible with your new chosen device. Please be aware, that if your plan is not compatible with the phone ($50.00 Spend commitment, CDMA to HSPA, etc) you will be notified to change your plan to an applicable plan Key Reminders You cannot add a device upgrade to a cart that already contains a new activation – these must be done in separate transactions or orders When ordering a new device or renewing/upgrading you must pick a device plan that is compatible with your new chosen device. Please be aware, that if your plan is not compatible with the phone you will be notified to change your plan to an applicable plan.

FAQs If I am renewing my contract or upgrading my device, can I keep my current rate plan? If I am renewing my contract or upgrading my device, can I keep my current features? What is the refund policy? Does 30-day Money Back Guarantee apply? What is the warranty? If I am renewing my contract or upgrading my device, can I keep my current rate plan? This will depend on what you have ordered. The ACN TELUS Webstore smartphone promotional prices require a rate plan and / or feature combination of $50 or more. If your current plan meets these criteria you can keep your existing plan. If your current plan does not meet these criteria or is not compatible with the HSPA network, a TELUS Webstore representative will contact you to recommend a plan which will suit your needs If I am renewing my contract or upgrading my device, can I keep my current features? This will depend on what you have ordered. When placing the order through the ACN TELUS Webstore, you will be required to select a new rate plan if you are selecting a smartphone or HSPA device for the first time. In some instances, the new rate plan you select may not be compatible with your current features, especially if they are expired or grandfathered features. If the features on your account are not compatible with your device and rate plan, a Webstore representative will contact you to recommend a feature which will suit your needs. What is the refund policy? Does 30-day Money Back Guarantee apply? The 30-day Money Back Guarantee applies to current PCS phones and Mobile Internet Devices sold through the ACN TELUS Webstore. The phone can be returned at any time within 30 days for a full refund, however no refunds are applicable to the actual service. In addition, returns are not accepted on any phone accessories. Early termination fees may apply. What is the warranty? There is a one year full manufacturers' warranty on all phones. Refer to the phone's warranty card for specifications and exclusions. Certified Pre Owned devices have a 90 day warranty (Refurbished). Add to Existing Account? Clients have the option to add a device to their existing account. They simply enter their account information and by doing so will bypass an additional credit check and will also reduce order processing time as we will not need to follow up with the client.
