Office of Institutional Research CTE Completion Rate As defined in the current Institutional Effectiveness Report – Denominator (Cohort): First-time freshmen in 2007-2008 who met all of the following criteria: – Earned 12 or more credit units at SMC within six years – Attempted an advanced occupational course (CB09=B) within six years – Numerator: Students in the cohort who met one or more of the following criteria within six years: – Earned a Certificate of Achievement – Earned an Associate Degree – Transferred to a four-year institution 2
