Explain why Holy Week is important for Christians.(8marks) Essay Plan 1. choose 4 points about Jesus from each day of Holy Week - eg as King, Servant, Son, Witness, Source of Salvation 2. what his example teaches Christians what to be like/do. Palm Sun: as KING (what sort of King, what is his mission as King?) Maundy Thurs: as SERVANT (Washing Feet) as SON obedient, trusting (Agony in Garden) Good Fri: as God’s WITNESS standing up to the truth of his mission, and who He is (trial of Sanhedrin, Pilate) as Source of SALVATION (innocent suffering and death) Deepen FAITH.
