11  “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ…” (emphasis mine) Eph 4:11-12 11

12  The purpose of these gifts is to invest in another person’s life through depositing skills or knowledge, who will also make a deposit in another and so on.  People with these gifts find fulfillment in training, teaching and equipping others for ministry. 12
