Unity in Christ Every gift is given by the same Spirit. The gifts are diverse. We have one Lord and are united in Christ. Then there is maturity in the church.
The Metaphor of the Body 1.All parts serve an important function, and the body needs every part. 2.Different parts specialize in different functions. 3.Value is often inversely proportional to appearance. 4.God designs the parts and the arrangement. 5.All the parts are interconnected and interdependent. 6.All function at the direction of the head.
