9. Marriage is a One Flesh Union “Since God created him man and woman, their mutual love becomes an image of the absolute and unfailing love with which God loves man. It is good, very good, in the Creator’s eyes.” - CCC 1604 “Marriage is indissoluble: God himself has determined it: ‘what therefore God has joined together, let no man put asunder” - CCC 1614, Mt 19:6

10. Man and Woman as equal “Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her…” - Ephesians 5:21-25 - Ephesians 5:21-25

11. The dignity of the Human Person Every human person is a unique creation of God, in His image, and as such every person has a dignity special to him or her. This dignity cannot be violated without sinning against God.
