4. MONSTER FISH V (6x60) From Sunday 3rd @18:00 Fish biologist Zeb Hogan heads off on another adventure searching for the world's largest freshwater fish. This season will follow him as he searches for everything from a newly found mysterious shark species to what may be the true leviathan of purely freshwater fish, the giant freshwater stingray, and he’s not afraid of the freakish, he grapples with electric eels and the ferocious teeth of the wolf fish. This four-part series takes you off to the kingdom of the kangaroo and red rocks with breathtaking aerial footage, riveting super slow motion and extraordinary animal stories. Yet Australia has much more to offer than its red heart: impenetrable jungle in the farthest north-east, bizarre native creatures like the cassowary and tree-kangaroo. This film travels to ten shark hot spots to reveal ten spectacular kinds of shark feeding behavior. We’ll discover how the special conditions of each shark species' preferred hunting ground affects every aspect of their hunt, from their body design to their behavior. Regional Relevance: This special features sharks native to the waters of Papua New Guinea, Bikini Atoll, the Caribbean, the Cocos Islands, South Africa, Mexico, and the Galapagos Islands.
