4. Church Terms: Soul Ties Bible terms most commonly used:- “knit” = to be bound or tied together “cleave” = to adhere to, be glued or bound together “Joined to” = to link or fasten together

5. What is a Soul Tie ? An attachment in our mind and /or emotions to a person or object that can influence the choices of our will

7. Unholy Soul Ties And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. And when Shechem the son Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her. And his soul clave unto Dinah….” Genesis 34:1-3

8. Unholy Soul Ties… And don't you know that if a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? For the Scriptures say, "The two are united into one.“ 1 Corinthians 6:16

9. Unholy Soul Ties… But the man who commits adultery is an utter fool, for he destroys his own soul. Proverbs 6:32

10. A soul tie has been formed between them and every one of those sexual partners. Fourteen different soul ties. Whatever is in the one becomes part of the other. Genesis 2:24 …they are one flesh

11. God is able to restore The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. Psalm 23: 1-2

12. Restoration requires... Honesty … with God and yourself Repentance … turn and run Renounce… all involvement Break… all unholy soul ties Walk … in the freedom

13. Reflection Write down any sexual sin you need to repent of including... Any sexual partners outside of marriage Involvement in pornography Any person, or object, to whom you have formed an unholy emotional attachment

14. Father God, I specifically repent of… (name it here quietly to the Lord). I repent of using my body or allowing my body to be used in this way, and I renounce the spirits behind these acts.

15. Forgive me Lord, cleanse me and destroy every bondage in my life as a result of these sins. I renounce every lie of the enemy telling me that I am dirty or not acceptable because of my past sexual experiences.

16. I take authority over the spirits behind sexual sin, and I break their hold over my life right now. I also take authority over any generational sin in Jesus’ Name. Thank you Lord Jesus that you cleanse me, that you fully accept me and love me unconditionally.

17. I now present my body to you as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to you. Please come and fill me afresh with your Holy Spirit, make me brand new in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
