For a long period the authorities placed skateboarding on the same footing as the street hooliganism and prohibited skaters to appear in the public places but in special places only.

At this period of time to be punk and to skate meant to say “Fuck off” to everybody who tried to control individual’s life. At the present days the conflict of skaters and authorities came down and the authorities accept this movement as is.
