2. - Unzip the zipper and press the teeth as flat as you can

3. -Press the seam allowance in place in the seam where the zipper is to be inserted. Place the open zipper face down on the seam allowance. -pin the entire length of the zipper tape to the seam allowance on one side making sure the zipper teeth are aligned with the folded edge of the seam allowance. -pin the zipper to the seam allowance only.

4. - Using a zipper foot(some machine have an invisible zipper foot) sew the zipper tape to the seam allowance as far down as possible. The stitching should be as close to the teeth as possible

5. -With the wrong side of garment up and the pressed back seam allowances side by side, pin the other side of the zipper to the other seam allowance. Make sure the teeth of the zipper are aligned to the folded edge of the seam allowance

6. - Sew the zipper tape to the seam allowace only, sewing down as far as possible

7. -to finish the bottom of the zipper and flatten the area of the garment where the zipper is attached(seam allowance to seam allowance). -Pin the seam allowance in place. -Using the zipper foot, start where the zipper stitching stopped, backstitch over the previous stitching and continue the stitching to the end of the seam using the required seam allowance
