There is no separate installation for CA ERwin Model Manager r8 All Model Manager administrative functions including: mart connectivity, mart creation, mart initialization are available through the single CA ERwin Data Modeler r8 application. Because some local user information is created during the installation, it is best to logon as the primary ERwin Data Model user prior to invoking the installation. If the primary ERwin data modeler does not have sufficient privileges, the “Run As…” option may be used the local Administrator account. Please make sure that the target PC meets the minimum requirements for drive space, memory and performance (please see the Release Notes for details). Text-only option

It uses the standard Microsoft installer (msiexec.exe). It can be invoked from a command line. It will recognize all standard MSI command line arguments. CA ERwin Data Modeler r8 installation package can be installed silently using the standard MSI command-line parameters.
