3 Enabling the Next Wave of Connectivity ™ 3 Pronto Networks Confidential Effective Subscriber Management & Service Control over Layer 3 networks Support for Subscriber Management and Service Control for Layer 3 networks Monitor the subscribers connected behind a router in layer 3 network by sending an ARP request The user now has the option of auto- authentication, thus allowing his MAC ID to be visible, giving the option of MAC based authentication

Different bandwidth limits can be attached to the various applications/service realms. Each of the services like mails (POP), browsing (http), download music (ftp), VoIP, etc. can be assigned their own QoS and can be defined under one SLA

12 Enabling the Next Wave of Connectivity ™ 12 Pronto Networks Confidential Session Logout Warnings When a customer session is about to end, due to time or volume limit being reached, then a warning pop-up window will serve as a reminder to wind up the current Internet session and logout or buy another prepaid card and continue the session. The logout warning will pop-up, by default, when 5% of the purchased time is remaining. This value can be modified

The end users, to whom these MAC IDs are assigned, can automatically get access without entering their Username and Password. Feature allows a WISP to restrict a user to access the Internet only from these MAC addresses MAC Authentication feature is optional and is disabled by default
