Supervisors should meet with MPES participants by August 31 to: Rate participants’ performance on their student learning and organizational goals (refer to the MPES goal-setting forms) Provide MPES participants with an MPES Summative Assessment Score

Summative Assessment Scores consist of: ELA and Math goal ratings Organizational goal ratings Circle Survey results (or alternative tool used by district) Supervisors will rate an administrator’s performance on each goal using Form 4 (available in Canvas or on the MDE’s website), based on the previously determined goal quantifications set in Forms 2A-C.

10 II. Inputting Summative Assessment Scores
Supervisors of record (e.g., superintendent, the superintendent’s designee, a head principal evaluating an assistant principal, etc.) should provide Form 4 data to the superintendent. To report data to MDE, superintendents should access the MPES file located in their MDE SharePoint folder: Fastest, easiest way to report MPES data Same Excel file used to report teacher evaluation data

Superintendents only should report finalized MPES data to the MDE to ensure: Accuracy Confidentiality His or her district’s compliance with federal requirements

Now let’s take a look at the Excel file and then address any questions you may have about reporting data.

17 III. Professional Growth Goals Conference
The Professional Growth Goals Conference should take place by August 31. It may be combined with the Summative Assessment Conference. The MPES participant and supervisor should identify two areas for professional development/learning based on the Circle Survey and other evidence.

Professional Growth Goals are NOT a weighted component of the MPES at this time and are to be overseen at the district level. The Professional Growth Goals Form should be filed in the MPES participant’s personnel file in the district’s central office. The Professional Growth Goals Form does NOT have to be uploaded in Canvas.
