2 30. 11. 2010Alternative Childcare Forms Národní centrum pro rodinu 2 Background  The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs selected the conference topic having considered the Programme Statement of the Government, in which the Government had undertaken "to create conditions for a quicker return of caring parents to paid work and to establish conditions for the further development of family policy and childcare in order to enhance the social status of the family and to strengthen the involvement of both parents in childcare."  Educational care constitutes one of the core functions of the family – basic element of the society.
