Business Division Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a quality, contemporary education to students seeking careers in enterprises requiring skills attained through competency-based education. Our curriculum is developed and delivered by following the Benedictine education philosophy adopted by the University and using the efforts of the community, students, scholars and other professionals. The students are further prepared to take their place in their organization an din their community by developing an understanding of, and an appreciation for, the value of the servant leader philosophy as presented by the University of Mary.

The Business Program at the University of Mary will enable students to increase their competency in communications and interpersonal skills, effective thinking, valuing, information literacy, physical environment, aesthetics and professional environment in a changing business environment. Our mission is to create an environment for students where they can attain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to become America’s next generation of servant leaders. The program is designed to integrate classroom learning, Benedictine values and real world experience to provide the students with an educational experience that builds a foundation for their success.
