When we breathe, we are absorbing the gas (Air) into our bodies through our lungs and into our bloodstream and to our tissues… Of the Oxygen (gas) we breathe (around 20.9%) is absorbed But only 4-5% is used by our bodies the rest is expired when we breathe out… ITDA Group International Inc. 9. As when we ascend again (as we must!) Our bodies release the excess absorbed gas at a rate proportional to our ascent (Drop in Pressure) This process of ascent is the action of “DECOMPRESSION” and it is the most important thing to fully understand… ITDA Group International Inc.
