2 Program Goals  Help your student organization achieve its goals and strive to new levels of success.  Train student leaders in techniques to help student organizations run more effectively and successfully  Ensure that you are aware of useful university resources and programs.  Promote student organizations’ commitment to their visions.  Create learning and leadership opportunities outside the classroom.  Encourage collaboration between student organizations as well as other University of New Hampshire offices and departments.  Grant access to programs and services that will support organizations.

4 Cobalt Compass Tier North Requirements: Organization must be registered on Wildcat Link and have an updated and active profile. East Requirements: At least one member from your organization must attend the Student Organization info meetings at the beginning of each semester. South Requirements: Organization must participate in student organization recruitment activities; such as U-day, new-member meetings, advertisements for new members, etc. West Requirements: Must have at least seven active members and two officers in your organization. Must have an approved constitution available on Wildcat Link. * Please note that these requirements are the current minimums to be recognized as a student organization. There are no additional requirements for this tier.

5 Cobalt Compass Tier Rewards: ULead workshops eligibility. Ability to schedule rooms for event and meeting space. U-day table will be assigned in area with similar organizations. Ability to request supplemental funding from the Student Activity Fee Committee (SAFC). A page for organization to promote themselves and coordinate their efforts on Wildcat Link.

6 Silver Compass Tier North Requirements: Have a collaborative event with another recognized student organization open to more than just the two sponsoring organizations (Event must be posted on Wildcat Link). Plan at least 1 event open to the general student body (Posted on Wildcat Link). East Requirements: At least two officers must attend 2 leadership training programs and complete the required reflections on Wildcat Link. Create transition forms on Wildcat Link for incoming org officers. (Template will be available) Create an advisor contract which outlines the guidelines you wish them to adhere by. South Requirements: Community service hours must be completed to equal 3 hours of service per member of the organization. Have 25 % of your organization attend a multicultural/diversity experience or program (reflections are required and the event must be sponsored by a different organization). West Requirements: 3 members must attend Student Org Development Day Have the entire roster of organization members up on Wildcat Link.

7 Silver Compass Tier Rewards: OSIL staff will assist with the design of a poster for 2 of your events. Your organization will receive priority placement at U-day Advertise events in the OSIL showcase (pending OSIL approval). 50 extra buttons each for your organization each semester Premium placement of events in the table tents. Your organization can submit a banner to advertise one event each semester on Wildcat Link.

8 Gold Compass Tier North Requirements: 2 officers must attend at least 2 organization workshops hosted by the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership. (Leadership Toolbox, SAFC workshop, ULead, etc.) East Requirements: At least 2 officers must attend 3 leadership training programs and complete the required reflections on Wildcat Link. South Requirements: Have 50% of your organization attend a multicultural/diversity experience or program (reflections are required and the event must be sponsored by a different organization). Community service hours must be completed to equal 5 hours of service per member of the organization. West Requirements: 5 members must attend Student Org Development Day Have 2 general member workshops to promote involvement and inclusion (with report)

9 Gold Compass Tier Rewards: Your organization will have access to a Zip car membership. Ability to stuff the GSS mailboxes with quarter sheets once a semester to advertise for an event. Organization will receive a $100 food budget for meetings for the year. Paid teambuilding at a low ropes course (pending sponsorship). New banner for your organization paid for up to $ 50. Organization will be allowed to advertise their events before MUB movies. Please note that these rewards are pending funding but are listed to give an idea of the level of reward organizations reaching the gold tier can expect.
