1. Beliefs and Values Lesson Objectives: To revise the 6 key topics that form the Unit 10 module ‘Beliefs and Values’ Learning Outcomes Work as a group to revise information and produce a suitable, structured 20 minute lesson for your peers to be delivered next week. A*- C

2. Beliefs and Values Review We will be returning to the topic Beliefs and Values from Unit 10 for the next 3 weeks. At the end of this period you will have an assessment to complete, students who do not achieve their target will re-sit this paper outside of class time. Over the next 3 weeks we will review and revise the key elements of this topic beginning with a set of student led lessons that you will prepare and deliver yourselves. These lessons will be graded on effort and content.

3. What do you need to do? In your group you have the following 2 lessons to complete the lesson you will teach. You will be expected to complete this for homework. The work must reflect the 2 hrs and 45 minutes you have been given for preparation. All members of the group must participate in the production and delivery of your 15- 20 mins lesson.

4. Your lesson must… Be 15-20 mins in length. Include a range of information on the topic given. Supply evidence from the Bible, Creed and Catechism. Include subject specific keywords. You need to produce a notes sheet that can be given to students, you need to fit 2 sheets on an A4 page, this needs to be clearly labelled and given to me for photocopying by the end of your second prep lesson. You must have a PowerPoint, but you should not rely on this (don’t read out off the board!). You need to include an exam style question at the end (B, C or D) example questions are available from the Edexcel website. You also need to include a mark scheme for this question (you need to write this yourself using the exam question guidance laminates to help you). You must have a starter task, key information and use the exam question as a plenary/review.
