The pathway will be clear (1), appropriately staffed (2), and conducive to athlete development. Clubs, schools, coaches, and players will understand the route from beginner – elite (3). BY 2017-18.. Between 2013-2017 the EHA will focus on: England Handball, 2013

6 PERFORMANCE WWW.ENGLANDHANDBALL.COM @EHA_PERFORMANCE SUPPORTED BY The philosophy that shapes the Vision Strategy and Priorities (VSP) for England Handball is: Athlete Centred – Development Driven – Competition Supported VISION & STRATEGY Athlete Centred Where the needs of each individual are assessed and a differentiated programme of activity is put in place over a given time period Development Driven Where the focus for the programme is on personal development and progression for the athlete Competition Supported Where athletes are involved in competition that provides stretch and challenge. Competition that complements and supports the development programme
