7 Now its your turn! Use a non-fiction book with an index and/or glossary to answer the following questions:

8 Index or Glossary 1. What is the first word in your index? What page would you find this word? 2. Does your index have subheadings? 3. Pick any word in your index and write it down with the page or pages. Then find that word in your book. 4. If your book has a glossary, write the third word and its meaning. 5. Write the fourth word and its pronunciation.
