14 DIVISION Kultur och utbildning The local level - the Municipality of Luleå Luleå is one of five pilot municipalities in Sweden for Roma inclusion (2012-2015) Co-operation: Local representatives of the Roma, National Board Agency for Education, Jobcenter, County Council Main areas: education, employment, health and social care Local Roma engagement and influence is crucial Women and children are high priority

15 DIVISION Kultur och utbildning Critical factors and success factors A strong political will to work with roma inclusion is necessary Include the Roma people in strategy writing, planning of activities, implementation – all levels Inclusion and influence is crucial Open minded in finding new forms for consultation Reach women Work on a longterm basis and be persistent!
