1.  The senior reflection assignment will be delivered to students Thursday, April 26, 2012; however, the preparation begins today. Although a traditional assignment, the senior reflection allows student creativity and might be utilized personally for a senior open house or graduation party.  The senior reflection is Friday, May 4, 2012 - No exceptions!

2. The senior reflection allows a lot of freedom but must, of course, be school appropriate. Ms. Miller admits to limited tech prowess. Students are expected to troubleshoot their own tech concerns and should not expect extensions due to tech issues. Ms. Miller strongly suggests avoiding procrastination. All senior reflections are due May 4, 2012. Remember, many students have newer and better technologies than AHS possesses. Senior reflections must play on AHS computers.

3. Identify your three best experiences and three worst experiences throughout your high school years. Briefly explain one “best” and one “worst.” (These must be within your high school years— August of your freshmen year until now; however, they do not have to be school related).

4. Identify your three most important relationships (family, friends, boss) and three most important involvements (sports, activities, church, volunteerism, employment) during your high school career. Briefly explain one relationship and one involvement. (Again, these do not need to be high school relationships or activities, although they may be, but they must have been experienced during your high school years).

5. List your favorite music (songs/artists), films, TV shows, books, video games, social networking sites, quotes, etc. that have influenced, inspired, changed, or supported you. Identify three that most fit your personality. Why?

6. List teachers, coaches, counselors, administrators, paraprofessionals, or other AHS staff members who have inspired or assisted you. Select one and expand on his impact.

7. Graduation is near. What precious memories, relevant educational experiences (not limited to academics), maturity or changes, and other reflections not addressed in previous reflections seem important. Select one and expand upon it.
