The IPR WG agree that a common Registry/Repository Service Architecture is needed within CCSDS and will provide full support for a CCSDS wide effort to establish a preliminary version of this Architecture. However, due to critical needs of IPR member agencies for an XML Schema registry the IPR support of the Architecture effort was available for the period from 1-Feb -2007 to 31- May-2007 at which time those resources would be applied to the development of a CCSDS Recommendation for an XML Schema Registry/Repository The overall architecture effort never occurred, however the urgency for an XML Schema Registry seems to have waned so the Overall Registry Architecture effort has been rescheduled for the period of October 15, 2007-January 15,2008.
