The Watsons go to Birmingham is a good example of Historical Fiction because it showed a real event in the bombing of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church on September 15 th,1963 but all of the main characters were fiction. Also it showed objects that really did excitest in the 1960’s. It showed what life was like during the Civil Right Movement without any of the real Historical Figures being mentioned.
