3. Introduction The circulatory system is like the Highway of the Human body. It keeps the Humanoid’s organs alive. It works with other systems to make it happen. This is like the H.Q. of the body.

4. Organs of the system Heart Blood Veins Arteries Atriums

5. How this system works….. The Heart pumps the blood throw the arteries and veins. The blood carries oxygen and nutrients that the body needs and takes out the waste and carbon dioxide that is left.

6. How this system works….. The blood is to carry Nutrients to the rest of the body. Arteries carries blood away from the Heart to the rest of the body. A Vein carries blood from the body to the Heart.

7. How this system works….. The sound that you hear, the thudding noise, is the sound of the valves of your heart opening and closing. The first noise is when the valves are closing. The second is when they open.

8. How this system works….. There is three types of circulation Pulmonary circulation - the passing of blood between the Heart and Lungs. Coronary circulation – the passing of blood from inside the Heart to the Heart tissues. Systemic circulation – the passing of blood from the Heart to the rest of the body.

9. Interactions with other systems The circulatory system works with the respiratory system to finish respiration. Respiration is the exchange of the gases between the air we breath, the blood in the body, and the cells in the body.
