3 Communication satellite systems Satellite systems such as Iridium and Globalstar use Low Earth Orbit satellite which move very fast over the sky, which require many gateways or a complicated switch over system between satellites. Globalstar Iridium Teledesic

4 Inmarsat System Uses Geostationary satellites –Inmarsat uses four geostationary satellites –The satellites are in the same position relative to earth. –They will always be seen in that position.
