USD 208 has purchased Online ACT Test Prep available to all 53 districts 2500 students will have access to a personalized ACT course via the internet Signing up is easy Students will be able to practice and prepare either at home or at school Students will have the elements of successful test prep available to them!

5 Tutorial An online tutorial is required Each student is given an orientation in how to use the course and maximize their experience They will review exactly how to use the program Once complete, they are ready for the Diagnostic Test

6 09/23/103 6Company Confidential Diagnostic Test Initially every student after registration takes this Diagnostic Test It is not a mock ACT but a skills inventory Each question isolates a single skill tested on the exam and pinpoints the student’s precise level on that skill The results drive the subsequent lessons received so the student has a personalized curriculum The score isn’t an ACT score, but what tells you where you strong and weak Everyone receives the same test

11 Initial Steps to Begin Students will go to the District’s website This is being created by Peterson’s now Once school commits and communicates with Peterson’s, the web address and necessary authentication codes are provided to school The Student will choose “Register to Begin” The student then creates a User Name and password Student provides a unique authentication code given to school after commitment letter received Student selects their school and grade And they begin using Thomson Peterson’s ACT Test Prep course!
