3.  The Institute for University Management and Leadership is a program of the INTER-AMERICAN ORGANIZATION FOR HIGHER EDUCATION (OUI-IOHE) established in 1983 to collaborate with member institutions in the process of training, improvement and consolidation of their academic and administrative leadership teams.

4.  The IGLU attempts to contribute with the institutional development of the universities by using different change and learning strategies and interventions, with emphasis on humanism, quality, pertinence and inter-institutional collaboration.
