Body Systems: Nervous System Reproduction: They can reproduce sexually and asexually. Food: Meat Habitat: Freshwater Streams, Lakes, And Ponds Predators: Large Diving Beetle Fun Facts: Sponges have a mineral skeleton Example: Planarian BJ

Porifera Definition: A type of animal that filters the water it lives in to get food. Body Systems: NONE. Reproduction: They reproduce asexual Food: Sponges are filter feeders. They eat tiny, floating organic particles and plankton that they filter. Habitat: It lives in water. Predators: Nudibranch Mollusks Fun Facts: Its DNA is identical to their parents DNA. Annelids Definition: An animal, such as an earthworm whose body is made up of connected sections or segments. Body Systems: Circulatory System Reproduction: They reproduce sexually or asexually. Food: They eat dead plant material that is found in soil. Habitat: live in soil. Predators: many different animals prey on earthworms. Which is one reason why they spend so much time burrowing into and around the dirt. Fun Facts: They can grow up to 11 feet long. It has no lungs or gills so it breathes through its thin skin.
