THE DT Attack Offense By Roldan Leyba, all rights reserved@ roldanrene@hotmail.com for use for Demo only and not to be sold. The USE Of the Double Tight Condensed Offense VS. The 30 Front Defense

THE DT A few years back we played an aggressive 34/35 team we had a weak O-line and therefore a weak running game. I have always believed that a Spread Offense works well, but a Condensed Offense can hamper and be just as beneficial to a total offensive system. I also strongly believe that Play action and what we call replace passes (RB attacking the Hook to Curl/Flat seam at 5 to 7 yards) can have devastating effects on 34/35 defenses. 1. In condenses the defense, making blocking easier for the O-line (we played in two point stances) in Zone and protections and almost always a 4i-0-4i front in their 30 look. 2.Play action must be played by the Interior Backers causing them to freeze or blitz thus allowing the inside game to work with the use of Triples by Center and two Guards and the visual to chip off or call off and take the Blitz on. 3.The Edge Blitz, which come 75% from the Bench or Boundary side is reduced with keeping a TE in for protection or the Replace Pass( Hook to Curl/Flat seam at 5 to 7) to the RB. 4. Easier read for covers by QB and the use of Motions and Trey uncover disguises in the Cover. The routes and numbering in the calls are our own, a simple substitution by your system can replace these. Because of the limited time for install we made the plays that would cover our specific needs. So this is what we used, in fore-thought the Outside Zone or Stretch would also be beneficial. Slide protections also would be recommended, though we did not use them..

Protections Fence C S WU T Y 3 1 MS R Z C X C M W $ FS P RB Most dangerous man 1 step-Guards read inside to Out R/Y in our left to right call INDIAN Means You Stay- Man to sideline is your protection How we did it, simple and time effective…but Slide would be a greater improvement

Taking them to the Dance G DT Our O-line in two point stance, make contact with defender and which ever way he goes we go with them…OL body between D-Lineman and QB, if they wrap up we stay in front of them. Uncovered we read inside to outside. If we read a two blitz coming we call to RB Most dangerous man and take the other. GC NG LB DT T MLB Most Dangerous man call MLB RB

DT attack Offense we will use this as a way to weaken 353 defenses C S WU T Y 3 1 MS R Z C X C M W $ FS P BASE DT right formation 10/12 yards Line splits 2-3-3 if they blitz we go to 6 inches 6/7 yards

Why we will use this DT 1.To complicate the front of the 35/34/33 2.It gives the ability to run power and pass 3.Motions will show coverage NEW RULES: Motion- short motions will be called RAY-and YAY X motions to Y side YO Z Motions to X side MO X short Motion to 1 yard outside R tight end- RAY Z short Motion to 1 yard outside Y tight end YAY We will use Inside Zone-Outside Zone in runs or man on man All passes are FENCE BLOCK we want defenders hands down New formation called DT TREY Right/Left- see illustration. NO HUDDLE 4 Plays-1,2,3,4... These will be picked when we see what is the best. Call DT formation—Protection---Motion---Routes---Play action/run/pass
