I  n the Us North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.  It is mostly grown in the south  Takes 27 weeks till harvest

3  Cotton is the most widely used fiber  Cotton is soft, strong, and absorbent  Used for bed sheets, carpets, and clothing.  There is more than thirty types of cotton  It’s been used more than thousands of years  Most is made by water powered machines  Cotton can hold water

4  Most cotton farms grown by the blacks in the nineteen thirty's where sharecrop owners

5  When slaves would pick the cotton crops they would be out there for day  The cotton crops have needle all over the stem
