8 The South West The states in the South West Region are Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Climate 2 of 4 states are below 40f and 2 of 4 are above 40f. The Geographic Features of The South West Region are… all 4 states have plateaus and rivers -The names of the rivers are The Colorado River, The Little Colorado River, and The Gila River. 2 of 4 states have a plain-The name of the plain is The Great Plain. 1 of 4 states has hills. 3 of 4 states have mountains- The names of the mountains are Humphreys Peak and Wheeler Peak. 1 of 4 states has canyons-The names of the canyons are Canyon De Chelly and The Grand Canyon.

9 The Resources of The South West Region Natural Resources All 4 states have mining, cattle, oil, farming, and fishing. 2 of 4 states have sheep, natural gas, helium, and cotton Economic Resources All 4 states have farming, manufacturing, electronic devices, and equipment.

10 The Southwest Discussion Our group chose the Southwest region to open our business in because it has flat plains which is good because we can build our factory on them. The Southwest is also a good place to open our business in because it’s not to hot or cold.The Southwest also has helium which is good for filling up footballs.The Southwest has electronic devices which is good because we can use some of the electronic devices to use in our equipment.
