STOP! Fake ID Embracing Your New Identity

THE IMPORTANCE OF IDENTITY Your Identity determines your authority. Your identity determines your reach. Your identity determines your abilities. Your identity determines your relationships. Your identity determines your interests and responsibilities.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:14-21 14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. NKJV

2 Corinthians 5:14 14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; All humanity is born into the wrong identity; that of Adam. It’s fruit is the pain in the world. Death to this identity is necessary as a means of birth to a new identity.

2 Corinthians 5:15 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. The new birth results in a new identity; that of Christ. This fruit of this new identity is the blessing of all nations; giving earth a heavenly look!

2 Corinthians 5:16 16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. We are now expected to approach life, people (especially those of the new ID) and challenges from this new identity.

2 Corinthians 5:17 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Anyone who has embraced Christ as their Master and Friend has this new identity completely. It’s not a process! The old should not bother them.

2 Corinthians 5:18 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, This new identity is the one of our new Daddy; God Himself! Nothing begets that of another kind. This is only possible through Jesus our First Born.

2 Corinthians 5:19 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Dad has reconciled Himself to the world in Christ, forgiving everything. That’s what we are to tell them.

2 Corinthians 5:20 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. Jesus has commissioned us and given us His own authority to tell all of the invitation to reconciliation with Daddy, which gives them the new identity.

2 Corinthians 5:21 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. That is our new identity: THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD! This is only possible through Jesus, who took up our identity of Adam so that we may take up His Identity.

JEREMIAH 23:5-6 "Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord, "That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 6 In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

JEREMIAH 33:15-16 15 'In those days and at that time I will cause to grow up to David A Branch of righteousness; He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 16 In those days Judah will be saved, And Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.'
