1. Good Morning
We hope you had a great weekend. I would like you to welcome Ms. Govannicci by writing her a letter introducing yourself to her. Tell her all about yourself—your favorite things to do, subjects you like, places you visited or want to visit, activities you are involved in, about your family. Be neat!!

2. Happy Tuesday
What can you do to make today special? Can you listen more attentively? Be kind to someone? Please write what you pledge to do today that will make it a special day.

3. Happy Wednesday
On the note card or piece of paper, write directions to drawing a snowman/woman. Your partner will have to draw the picture using your exact directions.
PS If we don’t have a chance to finish it, we will do it during flex.

4. Have a Wonderful Thursday
During science we will be exploring biomes. Biomes are regions of the world with
similar climate (weather, temperature) animals and plants. Today I want you to think
about a biome you want to live in or visit and explain why. (On the chart)

Arctic Tundra-where it is very cold
Example: I would love to visit the desert because I love cactus plants and want to see how many I can count.

5. Secret pal
On your desk is the name of a person in the class. Your job is to write a special message to your secret pal, telling them something about them that you like or will make them feel special and important.
For example: Thank you, Mr. Andersen, Ms. Govannicci (or Mrs. Kelvy, or Mrs. Thomas) for always being there when I need you. You obviously love teaching and the class is fortunate to have you in their lives.
