Workload management in LCG2 -Conceptual the same as in edg -User interface the same as in edg edg-job-submit –vo cms myjob.jdl Etc -Made more robust Using modified bdii etc Still not perfectly robust (by some way) but is much better -Seem to scale to current size of LCG (>40 sites, 3100 cpus etc) -Making it more robust has made it slower so submitting a large number of jobs can take a very long time!

3. Beyond LCG2 -Will be based on ARDA Very different architecture to LCG2 Based on WS -However, functionality will not be very different to what is already there. -(Hopefully) robust and scalable UK involvement -Scalability and performance testing -Activity centred at Imperial College (HEP and LeSC)
