The student sample begins on slide three and continues to the end. In the View tab, select Notes Pages for directions (bottom half in that screen) to produce each slide. Also, please note: there are two closing slides, based on similar writing prompts. Students will choose one or the other (their choice) to use as their closing, but I have included a sample based on each. *When finished, student copies will be set to play automatically, but this sample needs to be kept manual for instructional purposes. Professionally Significant Project: This student project will incorporate social studies GLCES, CCSS from reading and writing, language, and technology skills for my students. It will be shared with my grade level teammates to use in their classrooms if they choose to do so.

10. We Are the Same and Different One thing I have in common with my grandma is that we both have a way with plants. Something that is different between us is that she hates to cook and I love to cook. Something my mom and I have in common is that we are both organized. A difference is that she had a large family of five children, and I had a small family with just two boys.

11. Time Changes Some Things One thing my grandma did as a girl that I do not do is milk cows. Something we both did as girls is grow plants. My mom took care of her younger siblings as a girl, I did not take care of mine. We both wore dresses to school as girls.
