Chapter 1. How to identify the IP Address of your computer.
■ You must know the IP address of your computer to set up DMZ, Virtual Server, Port forwarding and so on.
Please follow the procedure below.
1. Click Windows Start button, and then click Run.
3. At the prompt, type ipconfig, and then press Enter.
2. In the run box, type cmd and click OK.
4. This will display the IP address, subnet mask, and the default gateway
of your adapter.

Chapter 2. Restore to default settings.
■ 1) When you set up the configuration of router incorrectly, 2) When you forget the login password, 3) When your router is not working well,
you have to restore router to the default settings.
1. The location of RESET button : The RESET button is beside the power switch.
2. The way how to restore the router : Press the RESET button for more than 5 seconds, and then wait a moment.(about 45 seconds.)
3. Notice :
You must not use a pencil or a ballpoint pen to push the button. If graphite or ink enters in router, your router break down.

Chapter 3. Connecting to the Web UI
■ To connect the router’s Web UI, you have to use your Internet Browser
1. Open your Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.).
2. Enter the router's default IP address into the address bar, press Enter
or Click the 'Go'. (*The default IP address : )
4. The main Web User Interface screen appears.
3. The login page appears.
Enter admin in User Name filed, and then press Login button.
- There is no default password. Leave the password field blank.
- Select the language you want to use from the language drop down list.

Chapter 4. Enable DMZ.(How can I turn off the firewall in router?)
■ This option will expose the chosen computer completely to the outside world. When you can't access the certain website or play the online
games, you have to enable DMZ for your computer.
1. Verify the IP address of computer that you run the certain program.
4. Check the Enable DMZ and Enter the IP address of computer into the
DMZ IP Address field.
2. Connect to the Web UI.
3. Click FIREWALL SETTINGS in the ADVANCED Tap.
5. Click the Save Settings button to accept the changes.

Chapter 5-1. How to connect cables to your router(*The internet service without cable modem.)
■ When you use the internet service without cable modem, follow the procedure below.
1. You can use the internet using the LAN cable connected with data port
on the wall.

2. Connect the LAN cable to the CY-SWR1100's internet port.
3. Connect the blue LAN cable provided in package from the device's
ethernet port to LAN adapter of your computer.
5. Turn on your router and wait until the boot-process is completed.

Chapter 5-2. How to connect cables to your router(*The internet service with cable modem.)
■ When you use the internet service with cable modem, follow the procedure below.
1. You can access the internet with cable modem .

3. Unplug LAN cable from your computer and then connect this LAN cable
to CY-SWR1100's internet port.
6. Turn on your modem and wait until the boot-process is completed.

CY-SWR1100's four ethernet ports to LAN adapter of your computer.
7. Turn on your router and wait until the boot-process is completed.

Chapter 6-1. How to set up the router for Dynamic IP internet service.
■ Most of the internet services are Dynamic IP types. If you can't access the internet, you must apply the clone MAC address in your router.
1. Connect to the CY-SWR1100's Web UI.
4. Click Clone Your PC's MAC Address button.
2. Click INTERNET in the SETUP Tap.
3. Click Manual Internet Connection Setup button.
5. Click the Save Settings button to accept the changes.

Chapter 6-2. How to set up the router for PPPoE internet service.
■ When you use the PPPoE internet service, you must set up the router to this type.
1. Connect to the CY-SWR1100's Web UI.
5. Enter the PPPoE account user name and password provided from your
ISP into Username and Password, Verify Password fields.
2. Click INTERNET in the SETUP Tap.
3. Click Manual Internet Connection Setup button.
4. Select PPPoE(Username/Password) from the drop-down menu.
6. Click the Save Settings button to accept the changes.

Chapter 6-3. How to set up the router for Static IP Address internet service.
■ When you use the Static IP address internet service, you must set up the router to this type.
1. Connect to the CY-SWR1100's Web UI.
5. Enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and DNS servers
provided from your ISP.
2. Click INTERNET in the SETUP Tap.
3. Click Manual Internet Connection Setup button.
4. Select Static IP from the drop-down menu.
6. Click the Save Settings button to accept the changes.

Chapter 7-1. Firmware Upgrade(*Verify the current firmware version)
■ When the function or performance of router is improved, the new firmware is released.
1. Connect to the CY-SWR1100's Web UI.
2. The current firmware version appears in each screen below.
1) You can verify it in the upper-right-hand corner of the login page.
3) You can verify it in the FIRMWARE of the TOOLS Tap.
2) You can verify it in DEVICE INFO of the STATUS Tap.

Chapter 7-2. Firmware Upgrade(*How to upgrade the firmware to new version)
■ You can get the new firmware from the support site. (
1. Download the new firmware to your computer with wired connection.
4. Click Browse button, and then select the firmware files in your computer.
2. Connect to the CY-SWR1100's Web UI.
3. Click FIRMWARE in the TOOLS Tap.
5. Click Upload button and wait until the upgrade is completed.
(about 180 seconds)
※ You must use the computer with wired connection to upgrade.
※ You should not turn off the router during the firmware upgrade.

Chapter 8-1. How to change the wirelss network name of your router.
■ If there are same Wireless Network Name as your router in your circumstance, wireless connection is not stable.
In this case, you must change the wireless Network Name of router to different name.
1. Connect to the router's Web UI, and then click WIRELESS SETTINGS
in the SETUP Tap.
3. Change the value of wireless nework name field to different name,
and then click the Save Settings button to accept the changes.
2. Click Manual Wireless Connection Setup button.
※ When you change this name to another, an existing wireless
connection is disconnected.

Chapter 8-2. How to change the wirelss channel of your router.
■ If there are same Wireless channel as your router in your circumstance, wireless connection is not stable.
In this case, you must change the wireless channel of router to another channel.
1. Connect to the router's Web UI, and then click WIRELESS SETTINGS
in the SETUP Tap.
3. Uncheck the box "Enable Auto Channel Selection" and select the value
of wireless channel.
2. Click Manual Wireless Connection Setup button.
4. Click Save Settings button to accept the changes.

Chapter 9-1. How to set up the wireless security(WEP)
■ There is no wireless security of CY-SWR1100 by default. In this case, everyone can access the router without authentication by wireless
Connection.
1. Connect to the router's Web UI, and then click WIRELESS SETTINGS
in the SETUP Tap.
3. Select "Enable WEP Wireless Security" in Security Mode and Enter
the values you want to use in WEP Key field.
※ The rule for entering value into the WEP Key field.
(1) When you select the 64bit in WEP Encryption,
1) You must enter 5 digits in WEP Key field using numbers and characters.
2) You must enter 10 digits using hex characters.
(2) When you select the 128bit in WEP Encrytion,
1) You must enter 13 digits in WEP Key field using numbers and charackters.
2) You must enter 26 digits using hex characters.
2. Click Manual Wireless Connection Setup button.

Chapter 9-2. How to set up the wireless security(WPA, WPA2)
■ There is no wireless security of CY-SWR1100 by default. In this case, everyone can access the router without authentication by wireless
Connection. The WPA and WPA2 wireless security is higher than WEP in security level.
1. Connect to the router's Web UI, and then click WIRELESS SETTINGS
in the SETUP Tap.
3. Select "Enable WPA/WPA2 Wireless Security" in Security Mode and
Enter the values you want to use in Network Key field.
※ The rule for entering value into the Network Key field.
- You must enter the value above 8 characters.
※ If you use the n wireless, you must select Auto or AES in Cipher Type.
2. Click Manual Wireless Connection Setup button.

Chapter 10. How to verify your public IP address
■ If you want to verify IP address received from your ISP, follow the procedure below.
1. Connect the router's Web UI.
2. Click DEVICE INFO in the STATUS Tap.
3. The value of IP address in WAN Part is IP address received
from your ISP.

Chapter Connect to a wireless network using Windows 7
■ First of all, you must turn on the wireless function on your laptop.
1. Click the wireless icon in your system tray.
(lower-right corner).
2. The utility will display any available wireless networks
in your area.
3. Highlight the wireless network(SSID)
you would like to connect to, and then
Click the Connect button.
4. Enter the same security key or passphrase that is on your router and Click
Connect.
5. It is marked 'Connected' next to your
Wireless Network Name, you can access
to internet.

Chapter Connect to a wireless network using Windows Vista
■ First of all, you must turn on the wireless function on your laptop.
1. If you see the wireless networks detected pop-up, click the center
of the pop-up to access the utility or right-Click the wireless computer
icon in your system tray.
2. Select Connect to a network.
5. Enter the same security
key or passphrase that
is on your router, and
then click Connect.
6. Wireless connection
will be done in a few
second later.
3. The utility will display
any available wireless
networks in your area.
4. Highlight the wireless
network(SSID) you would
like to connect to,
and then Click
the Connect button.

Chapter Connect to a wireless network using Windows XP
■ First of all, you must turn on the wireless function on your laptop.
1. Double click wireless network icon in your system tray.
3. The Wireless Network Connection box will appear.
Enter the same security key or passphrase that is on your router,
and then click Connect.
4. Wireless connection will be done in a few second later, and "Connected"
is marked the next to Wireless Network name.
2. Highlight the wireless network (SSID) you would like to connect to,
and then click Connect.
