2.  Welcome to the course This course presents the fundamentals of Neuroscience. Basic neuroscience – brain cells, neuroanatomy, how cells communicate. How we know the external world (the senses). How we interact in that world (movement). Physiology of sex, sleep and feeling.

MyPsychLab Course ID: marotta11962  Do yourself a favour (i.e. DO THIS) read the text book before class and use the online lecture notes review the lectures regularly and re-read the text book after class this may seem like a lot to handle – trust me, its worth it.

Lectures will be posted one week or more before they are presented in class. Bring lecture notes to class so that you can just add to them and not have to write down everything I’m saying. I would encourage you to go through the lectures online as well because all the material doesn’t show up in printouts.
