Purpose: to assist ag societies fulfill their overall “objective to encourage the improvement of agriculture, horticulture, homemaking and the quality of life in the agricultural community” (Ag Society Act)
Eligibility:all Ag Societies in good standing with Ag Societies Act

5. Ag Initiative Grant
Purpose: To encourage improvements in agriculture, the quality of life in the agricultural community and to facilitate rural development
Eligibility: Ag Societies and other not-for-profit organizations with objectives related to agriculture and rural development

6. Ag Initiative Grant $2.95 M Capital 1:1 to a max. $75,000
$ contribution: min 25% of project costs
Activities & Programs : 3:1(grant:local)
Local/Regional: max. $20,000
Provincial :max.$40,000
