2 Next Back Exit Course Objectives By the end of this course you will : Understand what WYSIWYG means Be able to create an Article in WYSIWYG view using the placeholders See the changes to the way that Media and Meta Data is added Be aware of new features

3 Next Back Exit The Content Management system has been upgraded The general look and feel of the system is quite different The URL is the same http://www.teignbridge.gov.uk/icm http://www.teignbridge.gov.uk/icm Your Username and Password will remain the same There is a link to the full training manual at the end of this course

4 Next Back Exit On login you will see the Home Page as before listing your current tasks, personal shortcuts and recent used list This Home Page can be accessed at anytime by using the Home button The Panel and Work Areas are the same The Articles and Libraries are accessed using the iCM Explorer

6 Next Back Exit Once an Article is displayed you will see the changes. The view is now WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Text, Media and Links are inserted into the Placeholders

7 Next Back Exit Inserting Text All you need to do is to click into the Placeholder and type!

8 Next Back Exit Use the Toolbar at the top of the page to format text and insert Inline Content

9 Next Back Exit Inserting Media/Related Articles/Links Click into the relevant Placeholder

10 Next Back Exit Add/Select the Media/Related Article/Link from the Library folder (or create it) in the same way as before Click on Refresh on the Toolbar

11 Next Back Exit Adding Meta Data Click on the drop down arrow in Section on the toolbar to display options Click on Related Meta Data

12 Next Back Exit Add the Meta Data from the Library folder (or create it) in the same way as before Click on Refresh on the Toolbar

13 Next Back Exit Useful New Features Multi article select, edit, move and deletes Bulk upload of media (via media library) Save Work in Progress and carry on working Suggest Media - compare article text and suggests media which maybe appropriate View thumbnails of all images within a media folder There are new features within this version such as: Check out the training manual for full details!
