2 Family Area Network Report California Action Plan for Partnerships California Action Plan for Partnerships Objectives and goals proposed by the California Action Plan for Partnerships. This is a statewide initiative to mobilize school, family and community partnerships at a state level in order to bring together the necessary leadership and resources to close the achievement gap and increase the graduation rates of California’s students. Action Team for Partnerships – The National Network of Partnership Schools (NNPS) has proposed to create an Action Team for Partnerships at Districts and School Sites. These are school site action teams that develop a plan and deploy activities which directly support both academic and school climate goals as outlined in the Single Plan for Student Achievement. The ATP may focus on one or more types of parent involvement under the “Six Types of Involvement” Joyce Epstein’s model.
