EQ: What am I learning today? Ongoing: How can I determine the meaning of unfamiliar words that I encounter as I read? Unit: How do I prepare today for my future? Lesson: What are my habits? How do my habits affect me now and in the future?

How will I show what I learned? Students will read the first section of the extended text and reflect on their current habits. Students will write a narrative essay explaining their habits how those habits affect their lives.
