4 Pre-school education Nursery school (aged 2-5) “pastoral care” education in form of a game [1]

5 Typical features of elementary/grade school  Kindergarten (aged 5)  For children 5-11;  Grades 1-6 or 1-4;  Each year of study is a grade (first grade, second grade and etc);  English,  Math,  Social studies,  Science,  Physical education, hygiene,  Music,  Work (for boys) and economics (for girls). 10 Famous schools in the USA  Deerfield Academy – 1797, Massachusetts, 9-12 grades;  Pennington school – 1838, New-Jersey 6-8, 9-12 grades;  Webb schools - school complex consists of a school for boys (Webb), for girls (Vivian Webb) and Museum-School of paleontology. Raymond MA Alpha - 1922, California, 9-12 grades. [2]
