2. WATER EARTHAIR FIRE The ancient model called the Anima Mundi is made up of Four Elements

3. It is the background model on which I arranged the astrological archetypes that illuminated the Pattern of the Elements.

4. WATEREARTH FIREAIR To perceive a tree in this model we need to turn the pattern around 90 degrees. This is the way gravity organises the elements on planet Earth. Air and Fire rise, Water and Earth fall. UP DOWN

5. The roots draw up the water (Water) and minerals (Earth) in a process called osmosis. The leaves are factories that convert carbon dioxide (Air) into oxygen using sunlight (Fire). This process is called photosynthesis (a photon is a light particle).

6. On the model pictured here (the model that explains the psyche) there is a natural flow of energy from Source to Wealth - from the womb at the base to the area of greatest manifestation at the apex. We can think of this as a river of life. The river breaks down at the top (Uranus/Saturn) and returns to the Source.

7. This famous Tree of Life grows in The Golden City. Quote: 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bear twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: … It is obvious that The Golden City described in the Book of Revelation is a description of the Anima Mundi. It has four walls with three gates in each wall and an angel at each gate: angels are also described as stars! Hello astrological angels!

8. To construct a tree- model out of the arrangement of the elements on the Anima Mundi is easy-peasy. And.. the tree grows on both sides of the river - not an ordinary sort of tree? I have applied new rulers to Taurus and Virgo (the logic for this audacious act will be explained in an-other presentation). ME

9. Astrologers will note that the archetypes merge. Between Neptune and the Moon is the root dream - between Jupiter and the Sun is the leaf generosity.

10. Selective could be Taurus or Virgo; Formal, Virgo or Capricorn; Gemini and Libra co-ordinate and co-operate.

11. The text continues:.. and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. I am hoping that this means that we will eventually learn to harness the energy in sunlight. I am also hoping that astrology will gain the recognition it deserves. The intelligent application of astrology's abundant information has the potential (I believe) to lead us into a new, enlightened age. Uranus is the light-bringer, isnt it? That oxygen is a by-product of photosynthesis might also prove significant.
