2 Law Enforcement Update Overall crimes was a 2 % decrease Central – April OK North East – Burglary of vehicles on the rise West – Drop in auto theft rise in smash and grabs specifically looking for money.

3 Law Enforcement Update Mission Valley – decrease in burglary Pebble Hills – rise in burglary of habitation and vehicles Sheriffs Operation Lasso somewhat successful Police Department is asking that no visible items such as lap tops, i-pods or electronic devices be left in the open to invite burglary of your vehicle – place items in the trunk of your vehicle, out of sight.

4 Security Officer Recognition Antonio Rodriguez- Security Officer for Speaking Rock. Assisted in the identification of an auto thief. Issued an award and certificate as well as recommended for the Chiefs award later on in the year.

5 Guest Speaker Border Patrol Agent – Randolph Gallegos Currently assigned to the El Paso Sector Presentation was Secure Border Initiative or SBI SBI will enable to Border Patrol to secure the border by providing the optimal combination of personnel, technology and infrastructure to deter unlawful entries by establishing a substantial probability of detection and apprehension.

6 Guest Speaker SBI – started in concept approx 2 years ago Current test project is a 28 miles sector located in Sasabe Arizona, it hold almost every land characteristic along the border from California to Brownsville Texas.
