2 Are the best known results of alcohol abuse. Liver Cirrhosis is a disease that develops when liver cells are damaged and replaced with scar tissue. 5% of people with liver cirrhosis develop Liver Cancer. You do not have to be drunk for this disease to develop. Poor Nutrition may make liver disease worse. Cirrhosis is one of the most serious alcohol related diseases

3  Alcohol can take away your feeling of hunger.  Loss of appetite can lead to malnutrition and low body weight.  Fatty liver disease also effects loss of appetite.  For Moderate drinkers Alcohol can make them crave fatty foods.

4  Binge Drinking is a common cause for Anemia, which is lack of Iron.  Vitamin A storage is decreased in alcohol induced liver disease.

5  The more alcohol you consume the more permanent memory loss becomes.  Women are more likely to suffer from memory loss than men.  Memory loss is one of the most common effects of alcohol.  Some people have trouble remembering skills, knowledge, and information they have learned in the past.

6  Low Consumption: Reduces Tension, Relaxes Muscles, & Slowed Reflex Reaction.  Medium Consumption: Causes Drowsiness, & Mood Swings  High Consumption: Breathing Difficulties, & Panic Attacks  Alcohol also causes Slow sluggish movements

7  Is a consequence of alcoholism.  Impairment to the pancreas spoils digestion.  There are 2 types of Pancreatitis:  Acute: The sudden inflammation of the pancreas.  Chronic: Develops over many years and the people who experience this are between 30-40 years old.

8  Problems Paying Attention.  Periods of decreased alertness or awareness.  In the presence of alcohol the brain get less oxygen.  Loss of coordination.  Shrinkage of the brain, which can cause disabilities.  Over time your brain may not be able to function properly without alcohol, which is called alcohol dependence.

9  Consuming large amounts of alcohol gives the drinker high risk of overdosing.  Overdosing alcohol can lead to a coma, stopping breathing, then death.  Vomiting while unconscious can lead to choking then death.

10  Drinking Alcohol effects all sides of the health triangle.  Physical: Poor liver, brain, and nervous system health.  Mental/Emotional: alcohol user can become irritable, or uncontrollably worried.  Social: Ruins Marriages/Relationships, can cause Isolation.
