SmartFindExpress Substitute System

2 Log in to the SmartFindExpress at esub.nhcs.net

3 Click “Create an Absence”

4 Choose a Reason

5 Is a Substitute required? Click Yes or No

6 Enter Dates in proper format (mm,dd,yyyy)

7 If you have pre-arranged a substitute or would like to specify a certain sub for first call, click “Name Lookup”.

8 Enter Last name and click search. Name must be spelled correctly.

9 You must click “Yes” if the substitute has already accepted the job
You must click “Yes” if the substitute has already accepted the job. If “No” is checked, the system will call this sub and then go on to calling other substitutes.

10 Click “Continue”.

11 This is your last chance to preview your job before creating the absence System will not call sub System will call sub

12 After clicking “Create Absence”
After clicking “Create Absence”. You will get “Job Creation – Successful”. You will also get a JOB number. WRITE IT DOWN. This is your confirmation that you created your job.
