We are here to become as well-liked, respected, famous, powerful, or as high on the ladder of social status as possible. The purpose of existence is to reconcile the glowing opinion we hold of ourselves with …. the appalling things that other people think about us. We are here to find certain people who really did know why they were here (such as perhaps Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed and others) - and follow their lead. We are here to make money and spend it on a bunch of stuff. We are here to have Sex. Maybe as much as possible
